Description of the top shapes:

R - Normal round tip

slightly pointed shape
Suitable for woven fabrics, coated materials, soft garment leather and imitation leather. Standard tip for topstitching.
On leather, the stitching is largely straight and partly irregular, with the thread lying slightly on top.

FFG/SES - Small ballpoint

Round tip with small ball
Suitable for fine to medium-weight knits and woven fabrics
The small ball tip displaces the stitch and fabric threads when pierced. The material structure is therefore not damaged.
Especially suitable for jerseys and tricots

SD - Round tip with polished triangular shank in the outermost tip area

D - Cutting tip

LR - Cutting tip

Cuts the leather at a 45° angle to the transport direction, inclined to the right.
Thread: slight to medium slant (depending on the leather), lying lightly on the surface
Puncture holes clearly visible

FG - Medium ball tip

Round tip with medium ball
Suitable for coarse knit fabrics, elastic sewing materials and sewing materials with rubber or elastane content.
